The Plaza Ballroom is an iconic event space situated at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on Collins Street. Originally built in 1929, Marriner Group reopened the ballroom in 1996 after an extensive refurbishment, providing a modern-day event venue within this spectacular setting.
Complete with a grand staircase entry, remarkable architecture, stunning chandeliers and a decorative stage, the Plaza Ballroom benefits from a flexible floor plan and celebrates award-winning catering inspired by today’s top restaurant food culture. Facilitating lunches or gala dinner events for 200 to 550 guests, cocktail receptions for 400 to 1,200 guests and presentation-style events for 400 to 800 guests, we also host a limited number of wedding receptions starting from $205 per person.
