Pearl is inspired by the original oyster carts that were once stationed on every street corner of New York City. Sadly, replaced by the notorious hotdog carts we see today.
Pearl’s cart designs allow the produce to be front and centre – creating an exciting vocal point for your guests. The cart is pared back, sleek, functional and ascetically inspired by the countless pastel hues you’ll find within a glimmering oyster shell.
Specifically designed as an addition to any event, Pearl works closely with their suppliers to source the freshest ingredients that champion Australia’s beautiful produce. Sydney Rock, Coffin Bay and Tasmanian oysters are freshly shucked for each event and there’s a well curated menu of toppings to choose from. Pearl also offers highly sought after Beluga Caviar, bespoke raw bars, canapés and additional catering if requested.
Pearl’s creator and owner, Lauren Matilda Matthews has close to 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, including six years of owning/operating one of Auckland’s most renowned catering companies. Her clients have included McLaren, Porsche, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Collier’s, Air New Zealand, Ernst & Young as well as a host of private clients celebrating weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.
